Very helpful video. I went into my backyard and worked on a couple of the exercises and then thought of another one. I recently acquired some tall orange traffic cones (don't ask me how) and I put four of them in a rectangle, stood off to one side, and attempted to fly the drone from cone to cone, trying to judge from a distance if the drone would come directly over the top of the cone. Sometimes I'd stop and course-correct halfway across, sometimes I'd course-correct while maintaining forward motion, sometimes I'd wait until I was at the cone and then try to judge whether I was centered over and, if not, if I was too far left or right or whatever. (Camera pointed down, of course.) I didn't even get bored with the exercise. I can think of several variations on this theme that I'll work out and work on.

Do not see the gimbal controls you recommend changing. In Follow Mode, gain & expo tuning does not appear. Only gimbal setting is "recenter gimbal". Drone is DJI Mini 3

So the market is flooded with cheap drones which are very poorly supported and with poor or no documentation. This is especially true of the apps used with those cheap drones. The cheap drones don't seem to respond to subtle movements of the joystick. This makes precise control extremely difficult with those.

I have a DJI Mini 4 Pro with the two different capacity batteries. When I use the smaller battery, it's under 250g and doesn't broadcast remote ID. When I use the larger battery, it's over 250g and does broadcast remote ID. (Verified with my iPhone's Wifi page.) If I'm going to fly recreationally in a zone that requires LAANC authorization, and I get that authorization, am I required to broadcast remote ID?

Thanks for the misinformation The ban is currently only threatening the purchase of new drones. Although banning current ones as well isn’t far off topic only new drones are under scrutiny as of now

Drone shows are unique in their displays and are are awesome to watch. However, I don’t see that they’ll replace fireworks as an Independence Day mainstay as there are not very many to be found in most areas of the country. Not to mention that fireworks are used at family gatherings and venues more accessible to most people.

Fireworks are antiques now. Plus they drive dogs crazy. Drone shows are incredible and will replace fireworks. Great job here

Good advice about the settings. I did my first video using the ISO 1600 but I use the 1/60 shutter speed with 30 frames per second and resolute seems to be good.
